Your Indoor herb garden is pending

Don’t have a garden? And can you grow a herb garden inside? Yes, you can! Whether it’s your bedroom or kitchen windowsill, you can grow a herb garden inside with no trouble! Choose a location with good sunlight and occasionally part shade. Not all herbs love sunlight all the time. I know, shocked!

Plant herbs you like to eat, there is no point in planting rosemary if it’s not your taste. We have selected some familiar herbs that most people love and notes on how to care for them...

Basil

Note: pinch off the leaves right at the stem

Chervil

Note: can grow in a small pot

Chives

Note: cut with scissors regularly, the more new leaves it will produce

Mint

Note: prefers fertile soil with a pH from 6.0 to 7.0

Oregano

Note: be careful to not over water or the roots may rot

Parsley

Note: needs at least 5-8 hours of sunlight a day

Rosemary

Note: benefits from being slightly dry and trimmed when needed

Thyme

Note: less is more when watering, it is better the underwater thyme

Cress

Notes: likes a cool room with lots of daylight
